A very special day when father and son enter into God's family
through the gift of the Sacrament of Holy Baptism.
Jonathan, son, wears his stole which is given to the youth at baptism.
The symbol is the agricultural yoke used for animals symbol of Christian yoke we wear for Jesus Christ, yoked to God.
The elements of the Sacrament: Water- washing, birthing, rebirth in Jesus Christ.
Laying on of Hands- conferring the Holy Spirit from person to person, used in Old and New Testament.
Anointing with oil- symbol in Old and New Testaments, blessing.
Candle- Light of the world, Jesus Christ, Let your light shine before others that they may see your works and praise your Father in heaven.
Stole- Yoke of Christ, a servant faithful in doing God's bidding, not self.
