CONFIRMATION MINISTRY is a standard ministry for Christian education in every Lutheran congregation and more other denominations. For us at Our Saviour, we offer a two year program, but never a graduation, because Christian education is meant to be life-long, not youth, only.
We ask all parents and youth to sign this document to clarify and commit to this instructional period. We want clarity in beginning and throughout the process.
As sports requires commitment, as academics, and dancing, music, etc. requires instruction and commitment, so does the faith. The others are temproal. The FAITH has eternal consequences.
We offer confirmation class on Wednesdays, September thru May, 2008/2009.
